A Course in miracles Student Workbook

Hello everyone , today I have decided to start new series which might take as long as 365 days , however it is possible to finish it earlier ,all depends from how often I choose to post .

I would love to see whoever feels like it to join, I’m sure many of you will benefit from those lessons , also if you would like to get a copy of the entire book , you are welcome to drop a comment and I will be happy to send you a copy.

Lesson 1

Nothing I see in this room[on this street, from this window, in this place] means anything.

  1. Now look slowly around you, and practice applying this idea very specifically to whatever you see:

This table does not mean anything

This chair does not mean anything

This hand does not mean anything

This foot does not mean anything

This Pen does not mean anything

2. Then look father away from your immediate area, and apply the idea to a wider range.

That door does not mean anything.

That body does not mean anything.

That lamp does not mean anything.

That sign does not mean anything.

That shadow does not mean anything.

3. Notice that these statements are not arranged in any order, and make no allowance for differences in the kinds of things to which they are applied. That is the purpose of the exercise. The statement should merely be applied to anything you see. As you practice the idea for the day, use it totally indiscriminately. Do not attempt to apply it to everything you see, for these exercise should not become ritualistic. Only be sure that nothing you see is specifically excluded. One thing is like another as far as the application of the idea is concerned.

4. Each of the first three lessons should not be done more than twice a day each , preferably morning and evening. Nor should they be attempted for more than a minute or so, unless that entails a sense of hurry. A comfortable sense of leisure is essential.

Seneca on Love

No one is deserving of love who is incapable of bestowing it upon others. Love is an undiluted emotion conferred with magnanimity; it does not look to personal convenience; it remains steadfast and is not altered by the vicissitudes of time and fortune. Such unselfish love gives gaudium to one’s soul.

I believe that true love , is not selfish. I love deeply someone and even that we are not together now , I want him to be happy . I want him to be loved . I don’t throw I LOVE YOU left and right, and when I say it , i mean it with all my heart . No matter what will happen , the love is always there .

I knew it was love ,since the first time I have met this person , yet i wasn’t ready for that love at all . I have learnt through experience that I can’t love someone and be mad at them or envy them . That’s not love . That’s a want to own someone .

Jealousy is in our nature , but being sick and full of it , doesn’t do any good . I feel at peace because I have been honest and I didn’t keep it to myself. That person know . If you love someone , say it . Don’t expect anything in return. Just say it to take it off your shoulders, because nit said ut sure become a burden.
